Descripción
Refers to the style and culture of a little-known group of pre-Columbians who lived in the northern Peruvian cloud forests. They are known primarily for tombs placed high on the mountainsides, containing mummies and stone and mahogany carved figures. The culture flourished flourished 800-1536 CE.
