Refers to an African stone tool-making culture dating from the Pleistocene Epoch and named for a site at Magosi, northern Uganda. It is characterized by an advanced Levallois technique that is employed to produce flakes that were used to manufacture other tools, pressure flaking to produce projectile points, and a punch technique to produce microlithic artifacts.
