Descripción

Rings, usually of plain gold or another precious metal, placed by the bridegroom on the finger of the bride as part of the marriage ceremony, and worn by her ever after to signify her marital status. In contemporary Western practice, the ring is placed on the third finger of the bride's left hand, and such a ring is similarly presented by the bride to the bridegroom, and worn afterwards by him.
