Works which recount aspects of funeral and memorial activities relating chiefly to royalty, nobility, or famous persons, usually illustrated and containing descriptions of processions, services, attendees, caskets, church decorations, and other funeral furnishings and structures, and often including sermons, eulogies, and other textual testaments to the deceased's virtue and importance.
