Descripción
Helmets widely used in Europe during the period of Roman domination, having a hemispherical, slightly bulbous skull topped by a small knob, and cheekpieces hinged to the sides and tied under the chin. Originating in Gaul, they were adopted by the Romans in the 6th century BCE.
