Descripción

Small to medium-sized, stemmed wine glasses of a distinctive type used particularly in the 18th-19th centuries, and intended for drinking claret, which was originally a Rosa wine from Bordeaux but gradually came to mean any red wine from Bordeaux. Claret glasses are typically made of colorless glass, and have a relatively short stem, a relatively small bowl, and a round foot. They are often, but not always, further distinguished by having a bowl that is cut or etched and sometimes flares at the lip.
