Descripción

A type of chevron bead carried by the Spaniards for trade to the New World, and first identified in an archeological site in Venezuela, from which they derived their name "Nueva Cadiz," an island which was a prosperous port from 1498-1545. They are usually made from three twisted layers of blue glass.
