Descripción
Use specifically for the parts of the firing mechanisms of small arms that initiate firing when pressed or moved by the finger, typically a hinged metal lever acting on the sear in the lock. Use also in the general sense for any mechanical or electronic devices activating a firearm or crossbow by a press of the finger.
