Descripción

A Buddhist family altar or shrine found usually in Japanese homes, but also in temples. Generally a freestanding cabinet with two doors, in which are kept memorial items of dead ancestors and representations of divinities. Incense, candles, and flowers are offered at the butsudan in daily rituals.
