Descripción

A rock bolt is a steel or fiberglass rod used as a long anchor bolt to stabilize the roof or walls of a rock formation in underground mining and tunneling. It is inserted and anchored in a hole drilled into the rock and transfers load from the exterior to the much stronger interior of the rock mass.
