Descripción
Collations of terms or names that serves as a standard for cataloging purposes, particularly electronic or physical files or other groupings of authorized cataloging entries for names, subjects, or other information. An authority file is characterized by having labeled the authoritative or preferred form of the name or subject entry for a particular entity.
