Descripción
Modified nylon developed by DuPont in the 1940's; formerly used in conservation as an adhesive and sizing agent for fragile paper, and as a consolidant for stone and friable pigments. Its use was discontinued following the discovery that over time it becomes insoluble and opaque, and is unsafe to remove.
