Descripción

An aromatic, thick, viscous exudation obtained from several Central European fir trees, including Abies alba. Strasbourg turpentine contains about 57% resinous acids, 28% terpenes, and 13% resins. It is similar to Venice turpentine and has been used since the 16th century as an additive to oil paints, mastic, and other varnishes.
