Descripción
A white marble from Cappadocia, Turkey that has light yellow veins over which there are hair lines of a darker shade of yellow. It can be so highly polished that it can create a reflection like a mirror; for this reason the emperor Domitian supposedly had a corridor lined with it. Little or none remains from antiquity.
