Descripción

Wood of the Eurasian species Populus alba, native from Spain and Morocco through central Europe and central Asia. It has been widely planted in the United States. It is a soft, fine-grained, lightweight wood that is easy to work, but it is prone to warping. It has been used for paneling, light construction, and panels for paintings.
