Descripción

Soft, supple leather with a suede-like finish made from the flesh split of kidskin, sheepskin, or goatskin, used especially for gloves. Distinct from "doeskin (skin)" which is the skin of an adult female deer used to make another type of leather, commonly used in early bookbinding. For leather made from doeskin (skin), combine "doeskin (skin)" + "leather." For unprocessed skin, use "deerskin."
