Descripción
Thin, soft leather made of unsplit sheepskin, similar to basil but firmer and usually tanned with sumach, given a dark finish with a smooth grain in imitation of morocco; popular in bookbinding as a less expensive substitute for morocco from 1790 into the 19th century.
