Descripción
A colorless, somewhat cloudy alkaline solution of slaked lime used medicinally as an antacid and as an ingredient in calamine lotion. In art, limewater is used in buon fresco technique to impregnate fresh plaster before application of secco colors, a process related to whitewashing.
