Descripción
A synthetic blue anthraquinone dye, rarely used because it is similar in hue to the less expensive phthalocyanine blue. Indanthrone blue was first prepared as an anthraquinone derivative of indigo by Rene Bohn in 1901; he named the colorant indanthrene, but the name was changed to indanthrone when Indanthrene became a brand name.
